The Evidence
My girlfriend has been preparing for the exam of her lifetime (she is going to be a judge) for the past three years; she has literally been studying every day at least six, but usually ten to twelve hours. In about six months she will take her final exam. We have been together for twelve years now. Recently I have temporarily moved to another country to take a very good job. I will be moving back to my own country in two or two and a half years.
Now I have met this girl in the town where I am living now and we fell in love very hard. I am absolutely sure that I will be with her. She knows all about the situtation and is ok with me not yet really breaking up with my girlfriend back home. She would very likely fall very hard and it would most certainly affect her exam score if I broke up with her right now.
I am wondering if I am doing the right thing not telling my ex girlfriend that she is not my girlfriend anymore and that I am only pretending to be with her until after her last exam.
